Binding process:
Binding to FrSky Taranis
1. please make sure Transmitter in Model Configuration (Page2), Go to Mode inside Internal RF and select D8.
2. Press and hold the receiver bind button and plug your battery in to turn the receiver on.
3. Release the button LED on
4. Going back to the Taranis, and press BIND The transmitter beeps, in binding process, LED Off binding completed.
5. Turn off and on both transmitter and receiver, enjoy flight!
Binding to XJT Module
1. Using the dip switches of the XJT module, select the D8 mode.
2. Below steps following:
3. switch 1 = ON, switch 2 = OFF.
4. Press and hold the receiver bind button and power up receiver.
5. Release the button green LED ON
6. Press and hold the bind button and turn the transmitter on.
7. Release the button green LED blinking, in binding process.
8. Green LED off binding completed.
9. Turn off and on both transmitter and receiver, enjoy flight!
Connecting to Clean flight configuration :
1. In the PORTS PORTS tab, select the UART that corresponds to the receiver (usually UART3 in F3 flight controllers) and activate Serial RX.
2. Save by clicking on the Save and Reboot button.
3. In the CONFIGURATION tab, in the Receiver Mode section, select RX_SERIAL.
4. In the same tab, in the Serial Receiver Provider section, select SBUS.
5. Save by clicking on the Save and Reboot button.
6. Go to CLI and type the following commands:
Set Sbus inversion = OFF
Saving
The FC will reboot, applying the change.
7. Go to the RECEIVER tab and make sure the receiver acts like it should.
Telemetry Configuration:
1. In the PORTS PORTS tab, select the UART that corresponds to the telemetry (usually UART2 in F3 flight controllers) and select FrSky in Telemetry. Leave the baud rate to AUTO.
2. Go to CLI, and type the following commands:
Set telemetry inversion = ON
Saving
The FC will reboot, applying the change.
3. Make sure you’re getting the telemetry values in our Taranis correctly.
