This model is on sale, and is a great buy!
Here is the 3rd flight of the day on the awesome P-51B from JB Hobbies. The electric retracts are working great, it flies awesome! The flaps are very effective. I was a windy day so I didn't really need the flaps at all, but I used them anyway.
I will have more flight videos when I get another nice day with a camcorder, it was a little bit of an impromptu flying day so I didn't have a camera man with me.
The Evolution 10cc gas motor ran great, has plenty of power, and is extremely efficient on fuel, with the factory fuel tank I got two 10 minute flights and had some fuel leftover! Pretty awesome. I would recommend a pumped motor, the fuel tank sits above the carb in the fuse and there is no way to fix that without cutting into the wing.
The engine is pretty new, ran 1/2 a tank on the ground tuning it in before the maiden flight, so I'm sure it will come alive more and more, but so far its been great.
I used LiFe 1100mah batteries, one for the rx and one for the ignition, and Turnigy Analog High Torque Ballraced Servo 26g/3.5kg/.12sec Model: TGY-225MG servos on all surfaces, spektrum 6 channel receiver.
