Outdoors testing of this nice quadcopter-car concept from JXD. The car part is clearly the minor one due to the absence of proportional steering but it's still easily controlable and fun. Quadopter mode is really interesting. This quadcopter is fast and got a good yaw rate. I managed to insert a nanotech 750 mAh LiPo (BE AWARE TO INVERSE POLARITY WITH THIS MODEL) and fliying duration is good (over 7mm).
When releasing right stick (to central position), the 389 is not returning into stabilized hovering mode but is continuing to drift in the last direction you gave, so be aware. No ball-bearings installed on shaft, so take caution to regulary control that props are spinning freely.
I am planing to remove the car part to save some weight and to install instead nano-camera for FPV
