The RadioLink AT9 2.4GHz RC system is reasonable value for money when you consider that it's available for under $100.
Pros:
- plenty of channels
- easy to use
- plenty of switches, sliders and knobs
- color LCD is good for use under indoor lighting
- relatively low cost means reasonable value
- is telemetry-capable
- reflashable to support other protocols?
Cons:
- only a DSSS system, very similar to DSM2
- color screen washes out in full sunlight
- build quality is pretty average (but it's only $99)
- no lipo battery voltage telemetry without extra $ and bulk
- no voice capabilities (but it's only a $99 radio)
- limited range of receivers
