Fat Shark Transformer SE Easy DVR MOD - Did a quick and easy method to add a DVR to your Fat Shark Transformer Goggles. By Adding a Stepper or buck Converter, Eachine ProDVR, and a Few RCA to 3.5mm Cable, I rigged up a straight up Mod to record video!
here are the easy DVR MOD Steps to recreating this for your self:
1. Buy Materials from a good supplier Like Amazon, Links below
2. Unpack Eachine ProDVR, connect 5 pin & 4 Pin connectors to Eachine PRODVR and inspect.
3. inspect the Buck Converter (Stepper) you purchased. Before Connecting it to the EACHINE DVR, TEST and SET it to the correct 5V current you need, other wise you will burn out your DVR. Follow the instructions for the Stepper as to how to set your Stepped down Voltage. Test the Stepper again.
4. Solder 2 JST Female Connectors or connectors of your choice to your Stepper.
5. Solder a Servo female connection to the Video out and Ground on a wire, then connect that to a Male RCA Connection.
6. Connect the Wires and Add adhesive to Goggles and Mount where you would like the Eachine PRoDVR to sit.

New in the Special Edition configuration, the included 720p panel can now take analog and digital feeds, while the built-in, 32-channel diversity receiver has been reconfigured to cut down on multipath interference. The Transformer SE monitor can additionally be decoupled from the headset to act as a standalone ground station.

Antenna Diversity vs True Diversity:
Basically, an antenna diversity system is a non-diversity system. The two signals that come in from the two antennas are compared and
switched via a simple comparator circuit and the resultant signal is fed into the non-diversity RF circuit for further processing.
The rest is non-diversity.
In a true diversity system, two separate tuners processed the two incoming radio signals till the detector circuit
before making a comparison by a diversity circuit. It is a much complexed and accurate circuit as compare to that of
antenna switching system. True diversity system has a much higher sensitivity than the antenna switching system. Read More:
