Biquad Yagi 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz Upgrade!
In this video I take a fresh look at the biquad Yagi I made some time ago. This time I used PCB’s to make the elements in order to make a much more accurate and better performing antenna. Here I will show you how I came up with this new design for both the 2.5GHz and the much smaller wave length of 5.8GHz.
It must be said that this is by no means an in-depth tutorial on how to etch your own PCB’s. I have included the PDF templates for both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz if you want to build one yourself but please do research the etching process before jumping in if you have no experience of etching PCB’s. That said it is very easy to achieve professional results at home using the method I use.
