Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
A continuation of the home made props using the new KDE triple prop adapter. The original "how to" video is here:
My original plan was to move from the 15" T-prop proof of concept experiment to the next logical size: 17" x 5.5, but I was one prop short & it take FOREVER to order them from China. Since I had enough 18" x 5.5s lying around I just accelerated the test plan a bit. I still plan on trying the 1755s, but will have to wait for the shipment to arrive.
At the end of the short flight the ESCs and motors were cool to the touch. The throttle is pretty sensitive at such low settings but you can see there's PLENTY of lift - we'll just have to see if things heat up once I put a heavier battery pack on it & collect some performance & power consumption data.
