Pros
- Protection cage around propeller blades allow indoor flight while minimizing potential damage to the quadcopter in a crash. Also minimizes potential for injury or damage from the rotating propeller blades.
- Eight IR obstacle avoidance sensors help prevent crashing into objects when indoors.
- Comes with very nice travelling carrying case.
- Brushless motors.
- 1080p FHD camera with 60 or 30 fps frame rate, or 720p at 120fps. Camera includes two LED illuminators.
- 12MP still photos.
- Records video and photos directly to onboard microSD card. Can download videos and photos to your phone via the AEE Zone WiFi app.
- Optical flow position hold and altitude hold sensors automatically maintain the drone's position while taking photos and videos.
- Comes with two 7.4V 1200mah batteries.
- 360 degree rotation function allows recording panoramic videos and photos.
- Inflight video is recorded directly to your smartphone using its AEE Zone app available on Google Play here and iTunes here
- Automatic takeoff, landing, headless mode, 360 degree rotation.
Cons
- No controller. Controlled entirely via WiFi through your smartphone using the AEE Zone app.
- Mainly intended for indoor selfie pictures and videos. Has difficulty with wind outdoors. IR obstacle avoidance sensors also are somewhat ineffective in bright sunlight.
- The app has a bug that alerts way too early of low battery power. It's actually over 7 minutes
- It's somewhat noisy.
