Time for another uplifting mix, this time, however, being a mixed of orchestral and serious uplifting.
The mix starts off with a stunning uplifter off of Trancer Recordings from Infinity & Ezietto, the breakdown is filled with so much emotion. Ciro Visone's first of two tracks in this mix, this one coming from his latest EP, 'Spring Dream', a very beautiful track.
Tranzlift exceeded with his emotional remix of 'White Swans' for Defcon's 100th release, the piano in the breakdown is amazing. The second track from Visone, but remixed by Standerwick, still having a lot of emotion, but more on the serious side. The progression with the melody is seriously something else. Serious uplifting from Artic Moon & Bryan Kearney, with a side of tech. 'Dreamers & Dreams' has a beautiful breakdown, followed by a massive tech-lifting drop!
We stick with the serious uplifting for rest of the mix, but we don't leave the emotional and orchestral stuff; Proving that with the promising Italian, Emanuele Congeddu, stunning breakdown with his epic take of Etasonic Vs. Laucco's 'Someone Like You'. The first time Davey Asprey is in my mixes and it won't be the last; as he is an amazing producer, which he proves with 'Anima'. The first of three tracks from Allen Watts, 'Breakthrough' being his collabed with Chris Metcalfe; beautiful and pure melody, along with a lot of energy!
Another producer who does an amazing job creating that "pure" sound, A.R.D.I., this time with 'Kobia'. Beautiful guitar & piano melodies in the breakdown, followed by an excellent main-lead! Things get a bit more serious and massive, starting with Standerwick and Watt's 'Next Gereration. This track has really grown on me since first hearing it, I really love the melody. Now two very producers this BluSkay & KeyPlayer, 'Giza', very middle-eastern like with the vocals and an awesome melody to go with it.
French Skies changed it up with his remix for TFB Recrods. Still capturing the orchestral breakdown, but a massive synth and tech drop! An entry for the 650 ASOT anthem, Allen & Envy and James Williams' 'Ark', finally saw its release earlier this year. The piano-line in the breakdown is something else, the strings are also great, but that main-lead is unreal, followed by a massive drop.
I really liked the original and CG's remix of Armin's 'Pulsar'. But, I was very happy to find an uplifting remix of it as well. And that is what you get with this massive tech-lifter! Still an TOTY canidate for me, John Askew's 'Shine', in my opinion, is one of the top uplifting tracks released this year. The bass-line, which is what you'll expect from Askew, and the melody is incredible. Now this is some serious uplifting from Allen Watts, remixing Armin's 'Save My Night', the atmosphere is top notch, I like to think its the perfect track to end with.
