A stingray, a giant purse and even a billiard ball made their mark in the 2 Red Bull Flugtags launching ramp in Sao Paulo, but it was a massive wooden horse who took top honors in the second-ever edition of the Flugtag in Brazil.
The Flying Troy team, boasting a machine weighing over 100 kilos, flew for over 14 meters to edge out the creative Red Bull Air Race (runners-up) and Aeroflintstones (3rd place) squads for top honors. The Madagascar team, inspired by the eponymous movie, took the special creativity prize in the event attended by 46,000 people at Sao Paulos Tietê Ecological Park.
