The increase in quality you get going to a 4k camera on a drone with a real gimbal is startling. I simply couldn’t believe my eyes after I got my new Xiaomi Mi drone in the air for the first time. But that was AFTER I got it working in the first place. It look a bit of work to make that happen. In this video I go through the components and how to setup the Xiaomi Mi drone, at least for an English speaker in the USA. I show you what worked and what didn’t in order to finally get it in the air. Then there is some first flight footage with a lot more coming in future videos.
