This bizarre pterodactyl shaped drone include FPV, 720p HD camera, and a nifty looking G sensor controller. Kids will love this for Christmas. Find it here and use $5 coupon HTYFQ5
Pros
- Actually shaped like a Pterodactyl dinosaur. Seems well made and sturdy.
- Gadgety looking G sensor controller. Combine that with the look of the quadcopter, and this should be a big hit with kids.
- Includes 720p HD video camera and WiFi FPV transmitter.
- Altitude hold lessens chance of impact with the ground.
- 720p HD video is both viewed and recorded to your smartphone via the HTS-UFO app. App available here on Google Play or iTunes here
- Uses widely available3.7V 600mah Syma X5C style battery with white Losi connector.
Cons
- Downward facing camera does not provide good forward looking view for FPV purposes. Primarily to be used to aim the camera for downward looking aerial ground shots.
- G sensor takes a bit of practice to get used to. Recommend flying in a wide open area for your first flights.
