Here is a FUN glider, with Options! EDF power if you don't have a tow plane, it will easily rise off the ground like a powered plane, or you can hand launch it, hi start launches with the hook on the bottom, or you can tow it with the Tundra or other aircraft. The Hall Cherokee is very easy to remove the EDF pod ( at the end of the video I switch it back and forth), the wings remove easily for transport if you need to, the servo tow release works flawlessly! I fly it on an A spec 1800mah 3s lipo, balancing is not a problem. My esc is back in the fuselage. Be sure to watch my other videos on this great glider.
I had no problems assembling or flying it, and you shouldn't either, it glides well, and looks great!

The Hall Cherokee is a high-wing, single seat glider that was designed by American Stan Hall in 1956 for amateur builders. Its simple design and construction methods, together with its flying qualities lead to it becoming one of the most popular and produced home-built gliders in the United States.
This classic glider has now been faithfully reproduced by HobbyKing who have created a beautiful scale glider that is both lightweight and tough. At 1700mm wingspan it has a real presence in the air and as a larger sized model, it features bolt together construction for easy transport and assembly at your favorite flying site.
The Cherokee can be bungee launched and equipped with a servo operated tow release mechanism it can also be towed aloft behind an appropriately sized model such as the Durafly Tundra.
But in case you don't have a bungee cord or you can't find a tow pilot, there is another fun way of getting this version of the Cherokee airborne. Included in the box is a 30A brushless ESC and a custom 64mm ducted fan unit which simply slots into place behind the cockpit of your Cherokee!
Once in the air, the Cherokee is a breeze to fly, it is responsive but without any vices and the landings are feather light, no fuss affairs making it ideal for the novice and experienced glider pilot alike.
