It used to be that you would order either a heli radio or an airplane radio. The heli radio has a smooth throttle, the airplane radio has notches. For whatever reason the FrSky Taranis comes with it in an airplane configuration. Luckily it’s really easy to fix. If you take the back off the radio you can adjust this setting just by changing a couple of screws
