This will show you how to modify your stock controller with an old router antenna to extend the range up to about 500 feet! Some wire stripping and soldering skills are required but there is no cost if you have the tools and an old broken router laying around. You can confidently fly much farther with this mod without worrying if the quad is going to lose signal and be taken away by the breeze to destination unknown :)
