In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with David Shefler, the Vice President for Sales at Connex about the company's high-definition, wireless video transmission systems, which boast zero latency and a range of about half a mile. Applied to drones, this technology has been used in aerial cinematography as well as industrial inspection tasks. The company is also producing a Connex Mini, which has shorter range, but also a smaller and lighter weight transmitter. The Connex system also features multicast capabilities: allowing the signal from a single transmitter to be received by multiple receivers. Connex is also poised to enter the FPV racing market, according to Shefler.
