$32 Ready to Fly JXD 388
WLToys V252 is no longer in production but can be found on eBay.
For this quadcopter drone pylon race competition, I used two pylons spaced 32 paces apart (~100 ft or 30 m). The pylons were simply constructed from two 5 ft lengths of 1/2 inch PVC pipe. Attached to the top of the pipe were children's swimming noodles from the local dollar store. I also included some ribbons to gauge wind speed and direction. Total cost of the pylons was about $5.
Let this be a throw of the gauntlet. Best time was 48.2 seconds for this 5 lap, 100 ft pylon race. Is there anyone out there that can beat this? If so prove it! Let's see your video.
