Harv turns in another stellar flight on his Aztech Aeromodels Slick 540 Prototype.
Some good news, the final design changes have been made and the Slick is going into production as we speak. It shouldn't be long before we see the new 540 and I for one, can't wait to see it fly! Harv has a tradition of doing a knife edge ground touch at our annual fun fly and this year was no different. No horizontal stabs were harmed in the making of this video!
Sorry about the crappy video work, I was going to blame the mystery meat hot dog I was burping up throughout Harv's flight but I didn't take a decent video all weekend. Just off my game.
This was one of many great flights we witnessed at the two day first annual Trudi Simonson Memorial Fun Fly event held at Spectrum Flyers on August 25-26, 2012. Harv's purple shirt was in memory of Trudi's favorite color. We were able to raise a nice donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in the name of Trudi, the wife of one of our members who lost her battle with cancer last year. RIP Trudi.
