When I first started working on 1/10th scale touring/drift cars, I had no clue about the differences between 190mm and 200mm wide bodies. Once owning an HPI Sprint 2 Flux with 6mm offset front and 9mm offset rear wheels, I wondered why the differences. Then I started customizing adding new bodies/wheels and tires. I could never get the offset perfect, even with buying several sets of wheels and of course tires.
Now, with the new Tetsujin adjustable wheel offset system, you can pick your offset without even taking the tire off! Tetsujin has a nifty system of a triad of notches that allow you to pick between 3/6/9mm offset and 2/5/8mm on some wheels. The price bumps up a bit by having to purchase both the Rim and the wheel insert, but these are priceless in adjustability. Add hundreds of color/finish combinations and Tetsujin has a home run with this!
