Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
This video is for those of you who love foamie warbirds. When Banggood.com asked me to take a look at their Eleven Hobby Limited Edition 1100mm T-28D Trojan, I jumped at the opportunity. I can’t help myself; I love T-28’s! There, I’ve said it and I’m not ashamed!
When I opened the box, this plane did not disappoint. I think Eleven Hobby has worked very hard to make this plane a solid contender in this category and at this price point. They do not have the brand recognition of the big guys, but they have built a model that is hard to find fault with at first blush. It’s awesome to find an 1100mm warbird that comes complete with flaps and retracts! Please see the video for my comments and initial impressions.
In the video, I make mention of performance issues. It should be clear that these “wants” of mine do not apply to those that are content to fly in a scale manner. I find that the T-28 airframe is so aerobatic and so capable that I just can’t leave a good thing alone. This plane begs to be hot rodded and flown with wild abandon. With enough power, this airframe can knife edge all day long and is a lot of fun to chuck around in the sky. I can see why it was such a popular trainer for the Military.
Well, all that’s left to do is get some decent weather and fly the maiden, see you there!
Thank you to Banggood.com for providing the plane for review.

This video took much, much longer to put together than it should have because my antique PC and software was in its final death throes and kept crashing and grinding along at a snail’s pace. At one point, I couldn’t even get my PC to boot up. Without exaggerating, the project must have crashed several hundred times. I actually kept bits of my body crossed as I uttered a silent prayer that I would be able to finish the video before it died completely. I could not bear the thought of starting over. Well, enough of that. Thankfully, I got the video finished (although it is full of compromises) and I have a new PC sitting on the floor next to me all ready to take over from my once trusty workhorse.
Many thanks for watching the video and with any hope, this very naughty winter will take a rest very soon so that Spring have some fun too. It’s time to get out and go flying!
Take care and happy flying to you. Remember, life has an expiry date so get out there and enjoy it while you can.
