Hands on feedback on the New Taranis Q X7 Radio control system from FrSky. FrSky currently have their flagship Radio the Horus and also their amazingly successful Taranis X9D Plus which most of us currently use.
The Q X7 is their lower end radio, but surprisingly comes in at an incredibly competitive price and yet still provides some of the features of both the Taranis X9D and the Horus.
Ergonomics are not perfect but still represents good value for money.
This video should give you a pretty good idea about this radio and in the next few days or week, we should hopefully have some flight footage with the Q X7.
So who is the radio for, basically anyone who can't afford spend the extra on a Taranis X9D Plus. This is a fantastic budget radio with the ability to grow with your needs.
One down side with this radio is the fact that you supply your own AA batteries. Not a big deal but something to consider when buying one of these
