Human activities on Earth, such as burning fossil fuels to create energy to run cars, power plants and more, have contributed greatly to the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. A supercomputer using data from NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2 (OCO-2) and high resolution weather models was used to create a time-lape of the gas moving in the atmosphere.
