I wanted to haul a heavy load across the ranch to pick up some barriers from the Tough Truck Competition we just had (Here's episode 1 of 5 ) I wanted to get in some action where my Semi Truck would pull my excavator and lowboy trailer to a far off construction site to clean up old barriers. First I planned on the opening scene with the semi truck idling, then to roll up on the excavator working. Load up the digger, transport it to the new site, and get back to work. The excavator you see in this video weighs 44 lbs! Yes, I was the only one controlling all RC's and filming - and yes, I acknowledge Im a complete geek. Haha! But I still love it :~)
I have a lot of folks ask me about the RC products I use - so to save some trouble here is some info:
The 1/12 scale Earth Digger 4200XL Hydraulic Excavator (RTR) (VERSION 1.5). It is completely hydraulic powered running on a 3s Lipo (8400mah). Here is a link to where i got it:

The Semi-Truck I am using is a Tamiya kit assembled with the MFCU. This allows me to get accurate sounds and rumble from my Semi Truck by using my controller and throttle. It is being powered by a 2s lipo at 7000 mah.
