In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew reviews the Connex ProSight digital, high-definition FPV video system from Amimon. Announced as the first video link for drones capable of providing a zero-latency, HD signal, the ProSight Vision Kit includes everything required to set up a drone for First-Person View flying: a camera, transmitter, transmit antenna and a ground station receiver. Just connect the receiver to any HD display device to see what the drone sees in real time. In this review, the crew unboxes the ProSight, shows how to connect the various components, how to set up the system using its internal menus and performs latency tests. Then, they mount the ProSight on a drone – RQCX-3 “Raven” – and give their impression of its performance.
