Next time you’re visiting Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, take a ride on the Hallyeo Waterway Observation Cable Car.
At just over a mile in length, the Hallyeo Waterway Observation Cable Car tour is Korea’s longest cable car route. You’ll board in Tongyeong, and ride the car over 1,500 feet up to Mount Mireuksan. This trip takes about nine minutes, and once you’re on top of the mountain, you can pause to take in the gorgeous view of the city and the Sea of Japan. When the weather is very clear, you can see straight across to Tsushima Island.
