Enjoy this long awaited video to see if VolantexRC FPV Ranger EX long range fpv plane is really a good plane for long range FPV. In this video, you will see my attempt to push the limits on my Futaba Radio 14SG 2.4Ghz system transmitting at S-FHSS frequency. I went all the way 3.6km trusting my new Cloverleaf Antennas on my old 1.3ghz 800mw FPV Video system, and Trusting my old FY31AP flight control system. Once I made the record flight, things started to get horribly funny. I lost my video and in between glitch video for few seconds I saw that my Autopilot is gone bonkers, and have marked a spot 3km away as home points, making the plane circling around there.
While I helplessly fondle around to get my video back, nothing works. For 5 minutes I watch static in my goggles, praying and hoping My plane does not crash in public or cause any damage. Just when I was going to give up, I saw a brief video glitch and was never this happy in my life knowing my FPV Ranger EX was still safely airborn. I wait for the 2nd glimps of my video and upon getting that, I put the plane to right path and increase throttle. Finally as plane comes closer to me, I got my video back and got the plane back. Phew! It was really horrible for me. But thanks GOD, my plane is back safe and sound.
