A full size RIPSAW is custom made, and can vary in price - but you can expect to pay at least $385,996 USD for one. A 1/10th scale version KIT is a MUCH Better bargain at about $1000 USD. I remember when Richard Hammond from GRAND TOUR first drive the RIPSAW around the streets of Dubai. He loved that he was driving a high-end luxury super tank. The full size version came with air conditioning, adjustable heated and cooled seats, winches, a light bar, and a "Thunderbird-style" steering wheel. Well.. the 1/10th version comes with almost all of that.. just the air conditioning is natural, and the adjustable heated / cooled seats are not an option. HAH! "PiG STUDiO" has come up with this fascinating likeness of the full size version that comes in kit form. I was fortunate enough to score one from a visit I had to Hong Kong back in 2016. Don't get me wrong.. this kit is BRAND NEW to market as of 2019.. and I am one of the very few lucky enough to demonstrate today.
My friend 乔代岩 (qiao dai yan) and I met when I was at the "Boom Racing" Asian Scale Invasion in 2016. He goes by an easier "western" name of David. I filmed my adventure in Asia, and where we met here on my YouTube channel.
He knew of all the neat RC ADVENTURES that have happened over the years and thought that we could put his creation in the mix of "Top Gear" and "Grand Tour" replica machines we have filmed. How could we pass up a chance to work with a replica "Luxury Tank"? It's light-weight, but meaty enough to really power though the cold weather and snow we have today. It is a chilling -15c.

What a little BEAST! Today I demonstrate how to setup the electronics in the RTR that was sent. I have never set up dual ESC's into a Pistol Grip before, and I found it was rather complicated to learn on my own. But..
Channel 1 and Channel 2 are Throttle and Steering.
One of the ESC's have the RED Wire Removed, as not to overpower the receiver.
Then I used a Flysky Noble NB4 Pistol Grip radio (any pistol Grip radio that you can make up to 3 mixes with will work).. and Mixed the Steering with the Throttle to give me ultimate control - as I demonstrate in the film.
This is my first test with this model.. and I have some learning to do. It turns IMMEDIATELY.. but it is controllable with some practice. I look forward to working with this model over the next several seasons.
