When Nike introduced their Ant-Clog SG-Pro soleplate a few years ago, I was impressed. It's one of very few football boot technologies that you can actually feel and see working! There's always been one issue though and that's the bulk and weight of the soleplate, an issue that became even more noticeable when they put this soleplate on a Mercurial.
But, with the new Mercurial generation, Nike have also introduced a redesigned Anti-Clog system, this time with a split sole construction made specifically for the Mercurial!
