My experience with the Rush has me re-thinking my devotion to KK5040 two-blade props. They are cheap, durable, smooth to fly, and easy to tune. But they aren't fast or powerful. So I've been trying out some DYS 5x4x3 props that I ordered a while back. These DYS props are not well balanced, so they are pretty challenging to tune. If you see some D-term bobbles in my flight, that's why. But they sure are fun to fly. See for yourself.
I'm intentionally posting this video the day after my "Tsunami Acro" video, so you can compare the performance of the three-blade vs. two-blade props against each other. To be fair, I have also switched from Betafilght 2.7.1 to 2.9.0, and have re-tuned. But I think the difference that the props are causing should still be apparent. Does the copter look faster in the straights and punches? Does it look to track better in turns vs. sliding out?
