How NASA's Asteroid Redirect Mission Could Work | Animation
A robotic mission will rendezvous with a target asteroid (referenced as '2008 EV5' in the video) and collect a boulder for later study. The spacecraft will also be used as an 'enhanced gravity tractor' that will slightly change the asteroid's trajectory. Later, a crewed mission will dock to the robotic mission to collect samples of the boulder.
